                                     She is María Ignacia Jarpa Fresard, the veterinarian I admired during                                       my adolescence in the program "La Ley de la Selva" When I was little girl I liked to say that I wanted to be a dentist, but I grew up and understood that I am very scrupulous with people, quite the opposite with animals; this was when I was 8 years old. All my life I have lived with animals and my parents instilled in me respect and care for animals and nature. I had many cats and dogs during my childhood and also chickens. Well, in this photo I am with a little rabbit in a university subject. My partner took this photo. This was in June 2014, when I first entered veterinary medicine. I really like this photo because it was a special time, because that first time too I was with many rabbits of all sizes and of all ages. In this photo I am specifically in "Mundo Granja" and I was very happy being in contact with many animals and nature. Since I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian and be in a real farm with many animals, a place similar to the field... The place I considered for me a paradise and like this I can feel at "Mundo Granja" when I see the animals. It is for me a moment of relaxation and a direct contact with nature, a moment where I can escape the city, stress, annoying noises and daily problems. I love the silent and just listen to the sound of the wind and the birds sing. A moment to be at peace.

                  June, 1992 I was born in winter. I was a present to my brother, because he always wanted to have a sister. In my house there was only happiness. It is the 19th day since I was born and a test resolve that I have Phenylketonuria, a metabolic disease. A disease without cure. I had to go to INTA in Macul. At age 11 I had appendicitis where I almost died because there was sepsis but fortunately there were doctors at that time.
